Hinjawadi is often described through the language of technology  IT parks, startups, global companies, traffic corridors and thousands of professionals building their careers.

But behind the glass buildings and office campuses is another Hinjawadi.

This Sharad season,Oitijhyo Sarbojonin Cultural Association aims to create one such space through its first Sharodiya Durgotsav in Hinjewadi Phase 2, scheduled from 16 to 21 October 2026.

The story of Hinjawadi is also a story of migration.

Professionals and families have arrived from West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and many other parts of India. They bring different languages, traditions, food habits and cultural memories with them.

Durga Puja offers a unique opportunity to bring these different experiences together.

For some, it is a connection to childhood.

For others, it is an introduction to Bengali culture.

And for many families living away from their ancestral homes, it is a few precious days when familiar sounds, flavours, rituals and artistic traditions make a new city feel a little more like home.

Oitijhyo's vision is to transform that feeling of homecoming into a shared neighbourhood experience.

From IT Hub to Community Hub

Hinjewadi's rapid development has changed the character of the region.
