How to Compare Two Dubai Mortgage Offers Properly
Two mortgage offers can look almost identical when buyers compare only the starting interest rate and monthly instalment. Their long-term cost can be very different once fixed periods, rate resets, fees and settlement conditions are included.
A proper mortgage comparison Dubai should place both offers side by side using the same categories. Compare the initial rate, length of any fixed period, method used to calculate the rate afterward, monthly repayment, fees and total expected cost. Buyers should also check what happens if they decide to refinance, make a partial repayment or sell the property before the mortgage term ends.
The expected property holding period matters too. A buyer planning to own a home for fifteen years may evaluate the mortgage differently from an investor expecting to exit after four or five years.
The purpose of the comparison is not to predict future interest rates perfectly. It is to understand which risks each offer creates and whether those risks fit the buyer's financial plan.
