The market is driven by the global rollout of 5G standalone networks, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) expansion, and high-capacity long-haul optical transport networks. In telecommunications, DFB semiconductor lasers serve as stabilized optical sources capable of maintaining precise wavelengths under demanding environmental conditions. Their ability to deliver low optical noise, minimal frequency chirp, and high output power makes them indispensable for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) networks and optical access architectures like XGS-PON.
